More people are getting anxious about the coronavirus pandemic and in the last couple of days there has been a mad dash to the grocery stores to stock up on anything and everything.
Toilet paper, paper towels, and disinfectant wipes were some of the first items to go but even the meat counters, dairy, and canned good shelves were being wiped out.
I have been using Instacart to do grocery shopping for a few months now to save a little time. Fortunately I was able to place a fairly large order the Friday before and amazingly the majority of my items were in stock and delivered Saturday morning.
Our freezer was pretty well stocked with meat since I just started using Butcher Box a couple of months ago.
On this day, Tuesday, my beloved Produce Box was delivered! We have been members for almost 10 years now.
This cooler full of mostly local and all fresh fruits and vegetables made my day!
