Another Sunday at home. The weather is beautiful still.
We spent the afternoon working on some Easter art and cards on the back porch. Lots of silly giggles and laughs.
Meeko will only settle down if he has his blanket so even though it is very warm outside, I apparently have to bring a fleece blanket to the porch if I need him to chill.
Ed is big into smoking and grilling this year. We bought our Traeger at the end of last summer and he is determined to smoke or grill every cut of meat available and to perfect each one. Today, he smoked some chicken thighs and drumsticks with lemon pepper seasoning.
I may have been a little heavy handed with the seasoning (lesson learned) but it was still delicious. Also, fries are a new favorite side dish, especially for Samantha who up until about a year ago did not like any potato in any form.
And what I feel will be typical for us this season, dinner on the porch again.
