Today Samantha had a fun art assignment. The assignment was to create a picture or a pattern using items found outside. She gathered sticks, crab apples, wild strawberries, pinecones, rocks, herbs and even a stray rose petal which must have blown from someone else’s yard.
She then used all those items to make a picture of Meeko. I think it turned out super cute!
Just a note: I started this blog post yesterday morning but it never felt right so I never published it. Monday was a difficult day. It was not entirely bad but it was a mixed up kind of day with plenty of highs and lows. More time was needed to reflect on the day. And finally today, I decided the one thing I really wanted to remember from Monday was being outside as Samantha gathered various pieces from nature to make some pretty cool art.
